Show SPECIALIST STUDIES POULTRYPROBLEMS Agricultural College Professor Leads County Growers in Two Bay Tours. m Prof. Carl Frischknecht, poul- try specialist from the Utah " state agricultural . college, will spend November 5 and 6 in this county with local men, studying problems on housing, feeding, poultry management, equipment, sanitation, etc. Two poultry tours will be conducted, con-ducted, one at Hurricane today, to-day, and the other in St. George tomorrow. Meetings will be held in these places in the evenings. Tours will be taken to poultry farms already in operation wher the present set-up will bo studied stud-ied and the grower will receive further instructions from Prof. Frischknecht. Those who are contemplating going into the poultry business v should take advantage of this p opportunity. The schedule! for : the two towns is as follows: . Hurricane 9 a. m., assemble i at tiie school house preparatory, to all-day tour, where poultry ' committeemen will pick up group by truck. 10 a. m., groups at La Verkin and Toquerville will join the ; party. 10 a. m., Anderson's ranch and Joe Simmon's ranch. 11 a. in., Jas. K. Naeglo and Harvey Jackson ranches. 12 noon, Morris Wilson and I Moroni Sanders ranches. 2 p. m. Henry Sc-holzon ranch. 3 . m., Wm. Wilson ranch. 4 p. m., llyrum liradrhaw ranches. . 8 p. m., meeting at Hurricane school house. r St. George 9:30 a. m., as- " seinble at Science building. I 10 a. m. to 12 noon, visit C. C. Starr, II. R. ISentley, Hopkins Hop-kins brothers, Ed Mickelson ranches and poultry plant at ' Washington. 1:30 to 4 p. m., Visit Phil Foremast er, Rulon Everutt, St. George Wells flocks, and Ernest Tobb-r and others at Santa Clara.
