Show PARK DIRECTOR COMMENDS RE ID A copy of a letter written to Representative Don B. Colton by-Horace by-Horace M. Albright, regarding the work done by H. L. Reid at the Zion park the past summer has been received here, in which the following quotation from a report on the ranger naturalists was made: . . "H. L. Reid, who specializes in history of southern Utah, and who teaches it in Dixie College, St. George, was assigned to Zion park. Mr. Reid is an interesting in-teresting lecturer, thoroughly knows his history subject, and is considered an authority on southern Utah history. He does not, however, confine his mte- rest to his specialty, but has eagerly taken on lecture and field work in all of the natural sciences applying here, and has shown great aptitude in this. Mr. Reid also shows great interest and enthusiasm in park naturalist lines and possesses that quiet, pleasing type of personality which is always of great value." Diiector Albright also said: "We have received many compliments compli-ments regarding Mr. Reid's work sr.d we are certainly grateful to you for bringing to our attention atten-tion this exceptionally fine man." |
