Will Spendlove and Mrs. Ellen Spendlove of Hurricane spent Friday visiting Mrs. Spendlove's sister, Mrs. Annie Webb. Mrs. Priscilla Mecham and son, Harvey, of Anabella, spent Friday Fri-day in St. George while en route to Los Angeles. Mrs. Louie Miller who visited here for a few days at the home of her mother, Mrs. Mae Harris, returned Saturday to her home in Los Angeles. Miss Josephine Stephenson who visited at the George T. Thompson home the past week, returned Wednesday to her home at Nephi. The East ward Beehive girls were entertained by their teachers, teach-ers, Misses Edith Harris and Josephine Ashby at the home of the latter Tuesday. Lee Adams returned Monday from Salt Lake City and the northeastern part of the state, where he spent ten days on business. Mrs. L. Unthank and Mrs. J. C. Snow of Pioche spent Friday and Saturday here. On Friday, Mrs. Unthank's son, Lawrence, underwent a major operation at the local hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Reid and baby and little Calvin Lyle, of Bakersfield. arrived here Saturday Satur-day and will spend a week with Mrs. Reid's parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Fullerton. Chamberlain of Summit Sum-mit and Miss Norene Jones of Enoch were united in marriage at the St. George temple on Wednesday, Wed-nesday, November 4th. Mrs. Rose A. Graham entertained enter-tained at a bridge party at her home Saturday night. First prize was awarded Mrs. George Pace and second to Mrs. Earl Cannon. Mrs. Robert Woodbury of La-Verkin La-Verkin and Mrs. Andrew Greg-erson Greg-erson and two children of Pin-tura, Pin-tura, spent Sunday visiting at the George W. Worthen home. Mrs. C. W.
