Show LEEDS Leeds, March 19. The betterment work on the stretch of road from Har-risburg Har-risburg bench to Andersons ranch commenced Saturday. They have their crushers and elevators and other machinery ready for work. We hope for a big improvement in a short time. Our Relief Society celebrated their annual day at the ward hall Saturday. They had prepared a splendid program after which they served light refreshments. refresh-ments. All reported a very successful party. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Fuller entertained enter-tained at a dancing party in honor of their daughter Phoebe, Tuesday evening. even-ing. There was a large crowd, many people coming from other towns. Everybody had a good time.- Ira and Willard McMullin, Mrs. David Stirling, Riley Savage and Mr. and Mrs. Chas. F. Hansen attended conference at St. George Saturday and Sunday. Miss Maida Fuller was in St. George last week. Our Dixie college students spent the week end at their homes. Mrs. Edwin Dalton and Mrs. Magnus Rosenberg were in town Friday evening. even-ing. Joseph and Tom Stirling, David McMullin Mc-Mullin made a business trip to St. George Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Orin Dalton and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hartley motored to Rockville last week. Mrs. Ami Robinson of Glendale spent several days here visiting her sister Mrs. Edward McMullin. A. G. Anderson and William Hart-man Hart-man were business visitors in St. George last week. Mr. and Mrs. Bill McMullin spent Sunday here. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Anderson were town visitors Monday. |
