Woodbury spoke on the subject o! quorum leadership. A general discussion was held on tie subjects that had been covered bv Elders Whitehead, Woodbury, Hafen Worthen, Morris, Sandberg and Bum-ing. Bum-ing. The Saturday afternoon session was very instructive, a good attendance was present, and singing and music was beautiful and inspiring. At the Sunday' morning session o! the conference Bishop Morris Wilson of La Verkin gave an address on the obligation of the church to preach the gospel to all nations. James Linder spoke on how a boy may prepare for i mission. He said all should be clean, honest and faithful and anxious to serve, and studious. Elders Fay Iverson of Washington and Vivian Leany, of the St. George west ward, who recently returned from missions, gave fine reports of their work and experiences. Mrs. Alice Ballard spoke of her experiences in the California mission field. She made mention of the wonders that take place in the mission field. There were 1016 present at the Sunday morning meeting. meet-ing. Elders George F. Whitehead, President Presi-dent Cannon, President Nicholes and Elder David O. McKay spoke at the afternoon session. The attendance at the two Sunday sessions was the largest lar-gest that has attended conference here in recent years, the music was very beautiful and inspiring talks were made by the speakers. Department work was not taken up, it being held over for Union meeting meet-ing on April 15. This postponement was desired by President Nicholes in order that he may study methods and procedure of priesthood work as outlined out-lined by Elder David O. McKay. The meetings of the women of the stake Saturday were well attended and interesting themes taken up and discussed dis-cussed by speakers. Health, Physical1 and Mental, ns the subject of a talk by Dr. W. 1-Reichmann. 1-Reichmann. Mrs. Zora Jarvis talkeo on Cultural and Spiritual activities. The Recognition of Relative Valus was taken as her subject by Mrs. fc-Roy fc-Roy Cox. The theme for the afternoon ses was woman's responsibility in the coE" munity life. , Professor J. Wm.
