Show Gordon Sullivan left Wednesday for Los Angeles. Calif., on business. Miss Grace Marshall came in last Thursday from Salt Lake City to spend a few weeks here with relatives. Joseph Maudsley of Raymond, Alberta, Al-berta, Canada, arrived here last Friday Fri-day to visit his mother, Mrs. Mary S. Maudsley. Mrs. Ute B. Perkins of Overton, Nev., spent the latter part of last week here visiting her daughter, Mrs. Vernon Ver-non Worthen and Mrs. Vera Whipple. Her daughter Miss Clara was with her. Wm. H.. Lyon and daughter Miss Aleen, Supt. Kelly and daughter Miss Ruby and Miss Eva Newton of Overton, Over-ton, attended the Leadership programs here the latter part of last week. Word has been received here Of the birth of a daughter to Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Harline Jan. 8, at Walnut Park, California. Mrs. Harline was formerly Miss Alberta Hardy of this city. Jos. W. Webb purchased the Hurricane Hurri-cane flour mill from J. W. Imlay the first of the month and is now spending spend-ing most of his time in that town.
