Show NOTICE TO WATER USERS State Engineer's Office, Salt Lake City, Utah. December 29, 1927. Notice is hereby given that Marion M. Lauritzen, whose post office address ad-dress is Short Creek, Arizona, has mads application in accordance with the requirements of Sec. 8, Chapter 67, Session Laws of Utah, 1919 and 1925 to change the point of diversion and place of use of 1.38 c. f. s. of the original 2 c. f. s. of water appropriated appropriat-ed from Short Creek & Maxwell Creek in Washington County, Utah. Heretofore Hereto-fore the water has been diverted at the following points: From Short Creek at a point 5,050 ft. N. and 1,000 ft. W. of the Wi cor. of Sec. 23, T. 43 S., R. 10 W., S. L. B. & M. and from Maxwell Creek at a point which bears 320 ft. N. and 240 ft. E. of the SW cor. of Sec. 26, said township and range and used for the irrigation of land embraced embrac-ed in Lot 1, Sec. 33. Lots 2, 3, 4, Sec. 34, T. 43 S., R. 10 W., S. L. B. & M. It is now desired to divert the water at the following points: From Short Creek at a point N. 1 45' E. 4200 ft. from the SU cor. of Sec. 23. T. 43 S., R. 10 W. and from Maxwell Creek at a point N. 28 W. 1410 ft. from the SW cor. of Sec. 26. said township and range. Said water is to be used for the irrigation of 103.32 acres of land embraced in part of SWUNEU Sec. 34, T. 43 S., R. 10 W , S. L. B. & M. This application is designated in the State Engineer's Office as File No. al006. All protests against the granting of said application, stating the reasons therefor, must be by affadavit in duplicate, dupli-cate, accompanied with a fee of $1.00, and filed in this office within thirty (30) days after the completion of the publication of this notice.
