Show SANTA CLARA Santa Clara, Jan. 17. Most of our towns people took in Leadership week at St. George. It was reported that many good instructions were given by the different speakers. Especially were the talks given by Adam S. Ben-nion Ben-nion greatly enjoyed. Merl Tobler the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Tobler was brought home yes- ( terday from the hospital. He washit accidently in the eye with a ginney on the school ground, a few days ago. We are having a little storm this week for a change, last week the' weather was almost like spring. It is a good thing, the buds and .blossoms would of soon come out if the weather had not changed. A couple of cattle buyers were in town yesterday, buying cows. Andrew Laub has taken them to Washington today. Mrs. Lizzie Walker is here visiting with her sister Mrs. Edward Stucki. She will also do some temple work while she is here. We have had two cases of appendicitis appendi-citis in our town in the last few days, Mrs. Clement Gubler was rushed to the hospital last Friday morning, also Miss Clara Graff was operated on this morning. Glenn Graff spent the week end home. He also atended the Union meeting and teachers banquet at St. George. Mrs. Theodore Graff who has been on the sick list for .about seven months, seems to be slowly improving.
