Show LOCAL AND GENERAL NEWS John Benson left Sunday for Salt Lake City on business. Lynn Peterson and sister, Miss Scer-relda Scer-relda of Enterprise were visiting here Friday and Saturday of last week. Mrs. Albert O. Fawcett was in St. George over the week end from her home in Diamond valley. Miss Dean Mansfield of Lalt Lake City arrived here Friday intending to spend a few months. Mrs. Jacob Jones of Gunlock underwent under-went an appendicitis operation at the local hospital Tuesday. Donald and Ferle Eardley were visitors visit-ors here from Motoqua the fore part of the week. President Jones of the Moapa Stake attended Leadership programs here the latter part of last week. Arrowhead Petroleum Corporation stock is bonded. Vou can't lose. Adv.J19-26. Mrs. Effie Snow returned Tuesday to Toquerville after spending a few days here visiting. Miss Ethel Harris was a vlistor here the latter part of last week from Leeds. Bob McComb left Sunday for Las Vegas, Nev., to spend a few days on business. Misses Ila Adair and Jane Alger spent the latter part of the week here from Enterprise. Misses LaBerta McGregor and Edith Knight attended the Leadership programs pro-grams here from Littlefield, Arizona, where they are teaching school. Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Terry and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Terry were visitors here the latter part of last week from Enterprise. Clair Macfarlane of Cedar City was a visitor here Saturday. J. B. Robinson of Overton, Nevada, spent Leadership week here. Miss Betty Jahner was a visitor here the latter part of last week from Ced- , ar City. Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Nelson returned return-ed Saturday from Salt Lake City where they spent a week visiting. Mr. and Mrs. Fern Esplin of Order-ville Order-ville spent the latter part of the week here visiting. Henry H. Wilson who is working at Springdale spent the week end here with his family. |
