Show NEWS DAMAGED BY FALLING WALLS The Washington County News was badly damaged last Saturday morning when the walls of the old State House collapsed and smashed through the roof and east' wall of the News building build-ing practically demolishing the front two thirds of trj plant. The small press has been moved into in-to the rear part of the building with the linotype and newspaper press and necessary job printing will be taken care of and the work of getting out the newspaper will be carried on, although al-though to a great disadvantage owing to lack of proper material and space in which to work. The building and equipment were covered by insurance and a representative represent-ative of the company came in yesterday yester-day and adjusted the loss to the complete com-plete satisfaction of the owner. Work of rebuilding the structure began this morning and will be pushed rapidly. |
