Show I'MOlEl Kit HERE SATURDAY M One of the Best Productions B. A. C. Has Ever Staged. The B. A. C. play, Monsieur Beaucaire, was presented at Cedar Ce-dar City last night, and will be presented again tonight and tomorrow to-morrow night. Saturday night it will be played in St. George at the Wladsworth theater. With the previous experience at Cedar City, the players should perform in first-class shape. Director Hayward states that this is the best production the B. A. C. has put on since he has had charge of dramatics at that institution. in-stitution. "The version of Monsieur Mon-sieur Beaucaire we are using", he states, "is a dramatization made by Ethel Hale Freeman from the novel of the same name by Booth Tarkington. It is considered to be one of the most colorful romantic Stories of recent years, being somewhat some-what similar in tone to If I Were King, The Prisoner of Zenda and similar romances. It calls for father fa-ther an elaborate outlay of costuming, cos-tuming, and has in it some very dramatic moments." There are twenty-two characters in the play. It is scheduled to start at 8:15 p. m. Just previous to the play, the oast will be entertained at supper by the Dixie College. |
