So long as the club cf "potential production" produc-tion" is being held over the oil industry, there will be an excuse for major interests to bear crude petroleum prices at the wells. Lift proration and watch the oil indus- I try right itself. It would soon be j seen that there is a. vast differ- j ence between the potcnital and j the actual production. Flush fields ; now on proration, if allowed to j produce to their limit, in less than 30 days would not be making one one-hundredth of their rated potential po-tential production. Interfering with I the law of supply and demand will ! work for a time, but not indefi nitely. Why not try removing all restrictions re-strictions from production and drilling for 30 days? It could not j be any worse than it is now.
