Roy Lundgren of Cedar City npent Wednesday and Thursday here on business. Mrs. John W. Pace left Tuesday Tues-day for Salt Lake City for about a three weeks' visit with relatives. Mr. and Mi's. Jed Cox of Cedar Ce-dar City came down Wednesday for a few days' visit with relatives. Mrs. W. D. Ellis of Los Angeles arrived here Tuesday for a two weeks' visit with her parents, Mi', and M's. John T. Woodbury, Sr. Mr. and Mrs. William Condie and J. M. Armstrong of Cedar City spent the week end here visiting vis-iting Mrs. Viola Taylor. George Badger and son Wilford of Holden came down Tuesday for an indefinite stay. Mr. Badger will work in the temple until it closes. Clinton Milne, Mr. and Mrs. Ir-vin Ir-vin Milne and children of Cedar City came down Saturday. The former returned that evening, and I the others will visit Mrs. A. Y. Milne for several weeks. Hatch cf the Utah Wholesale Whole-sale grocery company of Salt Lake City was here on business Wednesday Wednes-day and Thursday. The college cooking class visited the O. K. Market Wednesday morning and received demonstrations demonstra-tions in cutting, buying and selling sell-ing of meats. Mr. and Mrs. George Hunter and baby and Mrs. H. Wood of Cedar City spent Saturday and Sunday here on 'business. I.Iisses Helen and Eva Stoddard of Los Angeles arrived here Monday Mon-day for about a week's visit with Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Twenty guests were present. The afternoon after-noon was spent in games followed by light refreshments. Mr. and Mrs. George MacDowell and three children left Wednesday for their home in Provo. C. Larsen of Can-by, Can-by, Minn., formed a party that went picnicking at La Verkin on Wednesday. A party was held at Quentin Nisson's home at Washington for Mrs. Ada Cannon and her music Students Monday, April 27.
