Investment Jewell placed first and Aprils Horses compete in 14 rejcesf Friday catf Petroleum Downs Horses kicked up the dust and dashed down the track Friday during the first day of the Petroleum Downs Race Meet in Roosevelt. Fourteen races were held Friday afternoon. Tracy Luv, owned by Lynn H. Montgomery Mon-tgomery and ridden by Steve Hartman, placed first in the 350 yard Ocalla Chic ippaloosa Futurity Trials, with a time )t 18.50 and WJP Snow Lily, owned by Judith Lee Powell and ridden by Brent Anderson, placed second. Bar Moose, wned by Doug and Buck Robinson and ridden by Anderson, placed third. Chick-A-Bug, owned by George Hood and ridden by Troy Feragen, pocketed first place in the Ocalla Chic Bam Ap-paloosa Ap-paloosa Futurity Trials with a time of 18.57. Shay-Dee, owned by Doug and Buck Robinson and ridden by Ed Anderson, Ander-son, nabbed second. WJP Fancy Snowboy, owned by Powell and ridden by Feragen, captured third place. Vis A Chant, owned by Russell Christensen and ridden by Spencer, collected col-lected first place in the Ocalla Chic Bam Appaloosa Futurity Trials with a time of 19.16.
