Show Beaux Arts Beaux Arts meeting for April was held at the home of Barbara Jolley Thursday, April 7. President Glenda Landon welcomed everyone. Time was turned over to Barbara Bar-bara Jolley who introduced her guests, Margene Jolley, Marilyn Jolley, Cheryl Jolley, Lisa Jolley, Diane Vernon, Kathleen McOmber, Kathy Smith and her sister, Elizabeth Ryser, who gave the program. Mrs. Ryser has a masters degree in social work and is now engaged in private counseling. Previously, she worked for the LDS Relief Society in family services and for the district court in counseling. Her talk was in keeping with this year's theme of achieving inner peace and was titled, "How do we find Peace, Serenity and Happiness in a World Full of Stress and Trials?" Her talk was not about adversity, but about the stress we bring upon ourselves. A dessert luncheon was served to fourteen four-teen members and eight guests. The next meeting will be May 4 at the home of Helen Spendlove. |
