Show March traffic Composite traffic volumes throughout the state indicated a overall traffic increase of 3.3 percent when compared with March of last year. For the first three months of 1982 a traffic increase of only .5 percent was recorded, record-ed, according the Utah Department of Transportation Traffic Bulletin for March. On the highways leading into the Uintah Uin-tah Basin traffic increased on Interstate In-terstate 80 at Parleys Canyon 10.6 percent per-cent for the month and 9.8 percent for the three month period. On Highway 40 at Daniels Canyon, traffic increased 29.1 percent for the month and 19.3 percent per-cent for the period. In the local area U.S. 40 east 'ot Jensen traffic increased 2.6 percent for the month and 6.4 percent for the period. State Highway 44 north of Vernal Ver-nal traffic was up 15.2 percent for the month and 16.3 percent for the period. U.S. 40 east of Duchesne traffic increased in-creased 13.6 percent for the month and 1.1 percent for the period. No traffic count was taken on U.S. 40 east of Roosevelt, according to the UDOT report. |
