Show 11-yr. old treated, okay following Tuesday accident An 11-year-old girl was treated and released from Ashley Valley Medical Center after a two-car collision Monday afternoon at the intersection of 500 West and 100 North. A driver was cited for an improper left turn, Vernal City police reported. Neither driver was injured. The girl, Lori Webb, Vernal, was riding in a 1977 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by her mother Cherie, 27, which was traveling south on 5th West at 3:55 when it struck a 1978 Mercury driven by Virginia Allred, 54, Vernal. Mrs. Allred, driving north on 5th West, was cited for the improper turn, said Officer Mark Errington, Vernal City Ci-ty police. Both cars were damaged on the right front fenders. Errington estimated the damage at $375 on the Pontiac and $475 on the Mercury. |
