Show Ignatio stage stop moved to new site A 70-yearld house that is an , impor-t,Jt impor-t,Jt part of the Uintah Basing h.s ory once serving as a way station for the Uintah Toll Road, was lifted off of foundation Tuesday at the desert donatio do-natio townsite and moved to make way for a new access road to the White River oil shale project. The White River Oil Shale Corporation Corpora-tion paid for the move, which cost $5 800 The structure's new site wi I be the grounds of the American Gilsonite Company's Bonanza mining operation headquarters four miles away. Uintah County recently purchased the building from the Banks family. The county will own the access road through Ignatio.
