Les Skinner and Doyle Clark split first and second place in the bareback bronc riding event with scores of 56 Both cowboys were awarded $48. Steve Douglas placed third at 52 and won $24. Wade Rich and Eleo Cuch split first and second place in the bull riding contest con-test with scores of 51. Both cowboys netted net-ted $48. Gary Dee placed third with a score of 48. Dee won $24. Rex Wilkins, Jensen, placed first in the calf roping with a time of 10.0. Wilkins won $50. Cory McNeill, Vernal, pocketed second place at 10.2 and won $30. James Allen placed third at 11.4 and won $20. Cory McNeill and Whitey Ainge, Vernal, Ver-nal, garnered first place in the team roping event at 9.3 and won $128.87. James Allen and Balli Payan placed second se-cond at 9.4 and won $95.87. Chris Freed and Rick Massey garnered third place with a time of 9.9 and won $62.87. John Holmes and Buzz Holmes captured fourth with a time of 10.2 and won $29.87. The saddle bronc results were not available at presstime as the rodeo officials were checking out the scores with the judges. Thirty-three teams took part in the team roping. Cindy Young pocketed first place in the open barrel racing with a time of 18.049. She won $75. Dixie Allen nabbed second place at 18.312 and won $45. Jo Workman placed third at 18.453 and won $30.
