The baby weighed 9 lbs. 1 oz. and will be named Reuben. Edris Karren returned Saturday evening after being away from home three weeks. She had visited Dr. and Mrs. Jay B. Karren and family in Smithf ield and attended the wedding of her grandson Tony Harrison and Robin Coulson in Hazelton, Idaho and visited Max and Ilene Harrison in Provo and Lee and Charma Karren and family in Orem. Naples 1st Ward's Sunday School presidency was reorganized Sunday. Released were Merton Robb as president and Jimmie Jones and Larry Crowl as counselors. Sustained were Lee Murdock as president with Craig Martin and Kent Bentley as counselors. A testimonial was held Sunday in Naples 1st Ward for Sally Merrell who will leave soon for the LDS Mission Training Center in Provo. Frank and Sandra Stephens and family visited during the weekend with their parents Harold and Marie Merrell and family. Kay Baker of USU in Logan and Arlynn Baker of Weber College in Ogden visited their parents Arnold and Vena Baker and family during the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Kyle Lance had a baby boy born last Wednesday at the Ashley Valley Medical Center. Sheila Lind went to Salt Lake City last Monday to attend the funeral of her uncle Earl Crosby Tuesday. She returned Tuesday evening. Sheila Lind entertained at a dinner Sunday evening. Those present were LeAnn Needles and daughters and Shona Bowden and boys and the Ken R. Lind family. Merton and Mary Jean Robb and family have moved from Naples 1st Ward to their new home in Ashley Ward. Reva Ruppe accompanied Jack and Reita Ruppe to St. George Thursday to attend the wedding in the St. George : LDS Temple of Scott Ruppe and Carrie Armitage. They went on to Las Vegas, : Nev: to attend the wedding reception of the couple, ' ' ' While in Las Vegas they visited Hugh:-and Hugh:-and Carma Richens and , Kate : Goodrich. They returned home Sunday evening. Ada Openshaw accompanied LaVon Wall to Roosevelt Saturday to attend the funeral of Kenneth Labrum. Alice Murdock's mother Mrs. Call of Salt Lake City was an overnight visitor at the Lee Murdock home Tuesday.
