Flaming Gorge headquarters changed to Manila An effort to achieve travel savings and increase accessibility to National Forest Managers by local citizens and local government has resulted in moving the headquarters of the Flaming Gorge Ranger District from Dutch John to Manila. Area Ranger Bob Meinrod and members of his staff who deal frequently with local individuals in-dividuals are now located in Manila. The new location is more central and convenient to a large majority of range permittees, timber operators, special use permittees and others. Continued close coordination with Daggett County is expected as Manila is the county seat. In addition, the new location is more central to the work of relocating employees. This will result in savings . of travel and in more effective use of time, according to officials. Those conducting business with the Forest Service at Flaming Gorge should note that headquarters are now located on the southwest corner of the intersection of Utah Highways 43 and 44 in Manila.
