Show RESOLUTION NO. 81-26 A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 81-18, ESTABLISHING THE IMPOSITION OF SEWER DEVELOPMENT IMPACT FEES LEVIED ON RESIDENTIAL, INDUSTRIAL, AND COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENTS FOR THE PURPOSE OF FINANCING THE CAPITAL COST FOR EXTENDING MUNI CD? AL SEWER SERVICE SER-VICE CAPACITY AS NECESSARY TO SERVE THAT NEW DEVELOPMENT. WHEREAS the Vernal City Council has determined and found that it is necessary to impose a sewer development impact fee on all future residential, industrial, in-dustrial, and commercial developments seeking sewer service through Vernal City, such fees to off-set the costs related to the impact imposed by such developments, for the planning, acquisition, improvement, improve-ment, and expansion of Vernal City's sewer system required re-quired to adequately service such developments; NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to Vernal City Ordinance Or-dinance No. 81-3, be it resolved by the City Council of Vernal City as follows: Section 1. Sewer Development Impact Fee Schedule. That the following sewer development impact fee schedule is hereby adopted and required payable by all future residential, industrial, and commercial developments seeking sewer service through Vernal City Corporation. Type of Development Development Impact Fee Single Family Dwellings $1,350 per connection Multiple Family Dwellings Dwell-ings $1,012 per unit Motels & Hotels $270 per unit Mobile Home Parks $1,012 per each space platted plat-ted Industrial & Commercial 4 inch connection $1,350 base cost per connec tion, plus per fixture cost in excess of base 6 inch connection $3,375 base cost per connec tion, plus per fixture cost in excess of base 8 inch connection $10,125 base cost per con nection, plus per fixture cost in excess of base Section 2. Plumbing Fixture Rate Schedule. That the following plumbing fixture rate schedule is hereby adopted and required payable by all future industrial in-dustrial and commercial developments, with each unit being the equivalent of 10 of a residential connection : Number of Units Per Fixture Type Fixture Clothes Washing Machine 3 Combination sink-and-tray 3 Combination sink-and-tray with food disposal unit 4 Dental unit or cuspidor 1 Dental lavatory 1 Drinking fountain V4 Dishwasher 2 Floor drains 1 Lavatory 1 ; Lavatory, barber beauty shop . 2 , Lavatory, surgeon's ' 2 ' ' Laundry tray (1 or 2 compartments) 2 Restaurants and lounges (per seat) xh Shower stall, domestic 2 Showers (group) per head 3 Sinks Surgeon's 3 Flushing rim (with valve) 8 Service (trap standard) 3 Service (P trap) 2 Pot, scublery, etc. 4 Urinal, pedestal, syphon jet, blowout 8 Urinal, wall lip 4 Urinal, stall, washout 4 Urinal trough (each 2 ft, section) 2 Vehical washing stall 8 Wash sink (circular or multiple) each set of faucets 2 Wash closet, tank-operated 4 Wash closet, valve-operated 8 Note: Equipment or fixtures discharging a continuous or semi-continuous flow into the sewer system shall be counted at 2 units for each gpm (gallons per minute) flow. Section 3. Effective Date. This resolution shall become effective the 1st day of January, 1982. APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of October, 1981.
