A Christmas tree and holiday decorations with table adornment added to the festive occasion. A ham and turkey dinner was served to a large group. Steve Yancy emceed the program. Jack Willis returned Wednesday from a five day trip to Las Vegas. He was a guest at the Ray Buckwalter home. Mr. and Mrs. Neil Bartlett have moved into their new home. Lennis McKee is clearning ground for his proposed new home to be built this winter. Work is progressing on the new Ron McKee home. An open house honoring Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Carmichael was held Thursday night. The new Mrs. Carmichael is the former Annette Wallace. Mr. and Mrs. Benny Scholes and son, Grand Junction, spent last weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Farrel Simmons. Wade Haslem is now employed at Am Fac in Vernal. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Haslem went to Salt Lake City Wednesday, Dec. 16 to see their son Elder Clair Haslem off on the plane for the Washington Seattle Mission. Elder Haslem has spent the past month at the MTC in Provo. George Bartlett and Pearl Hier were married Dec. 3 in North Salt Lake by Bishop Leedwich of North Salt Lake 4th Ward.
