Show Kids from 8 years to 80 are likely to enjoy something some-thing new that's being added add-ed as a float entry to the 93rd Tournament of Roses Parade on New Year's Day in Pasadena, California. The float, called "Fun for Everyone" is considered to be the world's smallest loop roller coaster, measuring measur-ing 65' x 22' x 17'. The youngsters participating as float riders will experience a 4.2 G-Force (gravitational force over 4 times the normal pull of gravity) in the roller coaster cars travelling travel-ling 22 miles per hour on the float as it travels the 5.5 miles down Colorado Boulevard. The float, bedecked with hundreds of thousands of flowers, is entered by American Amer-ican Honda Motor Co., Inc., manufacturer of automobiles, auto-mobiles, motorcycles and power products, as its sixth annual entry in the Rose Parade.- . Balloons and cotton candy can-dy will complete "Fun for Everyone" which salutes the 1982 parade theme "Friends and Neighbors." |
