' m " , ,- Bud Anderson Maeser service honor Bud Anderson Arvol (Bud) Demar Anderson, 64, died Dec. 12, 1981 of a cardiac arrest in the Ashley Valley Medical Center. He was born April 2, 1917 in Vernal to George Walter and Phidelia Hullinger Anderson. He married Trellis Peher-son, Peher-son, June 17, 1955 in Elko, Nev. He was a veteran of World War II, member of the Jensen American Legion, booster for Little League Baseball, and member of the LDS Church. Chur-ch. He was a miner. Funeral services were Tuesday, Dec. 15, in the Maeser 4th Ward Chapel. Larry Williams gave the family prayer. Bishop George D. Merkley officiated at the service. Jay, Terry and Brad Anderson sang "Somewhere My Love" accompanied by Melba Eaton. Clyde Anderson gave the invocation. Following Follow-ing remarks by Bishop Merkley, Glade Anderson spoke. Nathan Jones sang, and Daun White and Dorothy Peltier sang "Via Con Dios" accompanied by Melba Eaton. Lyle Anderson gave the benediction. Prelude and postlude music was by Del Eddington. Burial was in the Vernal Memorial Park cemetery. Melvin Anderson dedicated the grave. Pallbearers were Albert Young, Lonnie Williams, Gregg Williams, Kent McCurdy, Charley Mohar and Kenny Stringham. Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by a sister and three brothers, Mrs. Ab-by Ab-by Leona Boldt, Lorin, Fred and Evan. Survivors are his wife of Vernal ; sons and daughters, Mrs. Alber (Linda) Young of Lapoint, Lance W. Anderson and Mrs. Larry (JoDean) Williams both of Vernal, and Dennis Slavensky of Helper, Utah; 10 grandchildren; and brothers and sisters, Harold, Melvin S. (Duff, Mrs. Iva Wilson, Mrs. Ralph (Dolores) Rolfe, Mrs. Kenneth (Verlie) Stringham, Lola Anderson, all of Vernal Ver-nal and Mrs. Owen (Mable) Johnstun of St. George, Utah. |
