Show JOB DESCRIPTION POSITION: Maintenance Person Permanent SALARY: Per Salary Schedule; $5.85 to $6.25 hr. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent; general knowledge of electrical repair and plumbing and other basic repair and maintenance of low-rent. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: RESPON-SIBILITIES: The Maintenance Person shall perform the following follow-ing duties under the supervision of the Executive Ex-ecutive Director: 1. Perform Per-form minor electrical repairs to switches and outlets, appliances and circuits. 2. Perform plumbing work, such as unstopping drains, fixing faucets and repairing leaks. 3. Perform damage repair, such as replacing broken glass, screens and locks. 4. Perform interior and exterior painting. 5. Maintain grounds and perform landscaping. 6. Exterminate pests as assigned. 7. Clean common com-mon areas and vacated units. 8. Complete and submit all work orders. 9. Perform preventive maintenance work. 10. Inspect In-spect houses and units during move-in, move-out, move-out, annual maintenance warranty and other housing hous-ing inspection. Complete requisition orders and other reports as required. 11. Participate in standby emergency service to provide constant coverage. 12. Assists in the purchasing, stocking and disbursement of maintenance materials and equipment, and is reponsible for the maintenance and storage of materials and equipment. equip-ment. 13 Reports maintenance progress, issues 3nd problems to the Executive Director.
