Outstanding violinists were Tiana Hall, left, and Allison Tullis, right. Kelly Bowden was outstanding violinist. Playoff yields 3 students of month April play-offs were Thursday, April 30 for the Vernal Youth Orchestra with three young musicians qualifying for the 'Student of the Month title. Tiana Hall, violinist, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dee Hall. Tiana, a second year violin student, is a sixth grade student at Maeser Elementary School. Tiana chose violin because "I couldn't find any other instrument to play." Her favorite activities are playing violin, camping, and being in musical productions. Kelly Bowden, violist, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Bowden. He attends third grade at Discovery Elementary School. Kelly became interested in playing viola during the fall orchestra recruitment program. In addition to playing viola, Kelly enjoys playing baseball and football, riding motorcycles motor-cycles and listening to stereo. Allison Tullis is the daughter of Mr. afd Mrs. Terry Tullis. She chose to play the violin because she wanted to play something different from her sisters.
