Coun-ty. 4-01-001 Code Adopted. Uintah County herby adopts the Uniform Building Code as published publish-ed in code book form by the International Conference Con-ference of Building Officials Of-ficials as the building code for Uintah County and it is made part of the ordinances of Uintah County as though herein fully printed. The current edition adopted herewith is the 1979 edition. Three copies of said code are available for use and examination ex-amination of the public in the office of Uintah County Coun-ty Clerk. 4-01-002 Repeal of Fee Schedule. Table No. 3-A Building Permit Fees, of the Uniform Building Code 1979 edition, is hereby repealed and the following substitute table No. 3-A Revised Building Permit Fees is hereby adopted: If a building permit fee is not obtained prior to starting construction, construc-tion, the amount of the fee will be doubled. FEES: $12.00 TOTAL VALUATION : $300 up to $999. $2.50 per $1,000.. ..Up to $25,000 or any part. Ex-- Ex-- ample: $72.00 for $25,000 valuation. $2 per $1,000.. ..Between $25,000 and $50,000.. Example: Ex-ample: $72.00 for first $25,000. $34.00 for $17,000 at $2 per $1,000. $106.00 for $42,000 total. $1.50 per $1,000.. ..Above $50,000. Example: $112,000 valuation. $72.00 for first $25,000. $50.00 for second $25,000. $93.00 for $02,000 at $1.50 per $1,000. $215.00 for $112,000 total. 4-01-003 Exception To: Requirement to Obtain Building Permit UBC 301 a. Prefabricated metal storage buildings Lmetal frame with metal siding and metal roof not exceeding 1044 square feet of area or 8 feet in height shall be exempt from the requirements to obtain a building permit, provided the following conditions are met: 1 Building is on the same lot, and is used in conjunction con-junction with a single family or duplex residence on the lot. 2 Meets all applicable zoning zon-ing andor subdivision regulations. 3 Building is adequately anchored as to resist overturning or displacement caused by wind. 4-01-004 Building Permit Fees for Churches and Houses of Worship. No fee will be charged for the construction of facilities used for religious worship. wor-ship. However, a permit is required before construction con-struction starts. 4-01-005 Required Sill Heights for Emergency Escape Windows. Amend Section 1204 to read in part as follows: "Where windows are' provided as a means of egress or rescue they shall have a finished sill height not more than 48 inches above the floor." 4-01-006 Minimum Fire Resistive Standards for Buildings Located Within Commercial Districts of Uintah County. The following minimum fire resistive standards are established for all commercial com-mercial building uses established within the commercial districts of Uintah County being, C-l, H-l. 1. Two hour fire resistive wall construction construc-tion required for all walls less than 20' from a property pro-perty line, including necessary parapet walls over all fire resistive walls. Exception: Exterior wall requirements shall not apply to Type II 1 hour construction. .code provisions shall prevail. 2. 1 hour rated ceiling throughout all buildings. 3. Fire retardant roof covering. .all buildings. 4. Other fire resistive standards and construction construc-tion required by code shall take precedence if more restrictive than items 1, 2, and 3. Chapter 4-02 UNIFORM MECHANICAL CODE Sect:on 4-02-001 Code Adopted. 4-02-001 CODE ADOPTED: Uintah County Coun-ty hereby adopts by reference the Uniform Mechanical Code, as published in code book form by the International Conference of Building Officials, as the Mechanical Code for Uintah Uin-tah County, and is made a , part of the ordinances of the County as though herein fully printed.
