Doug Kent, tancville, nabbed sixth place at Randy Smuin, 22. Uintah will host American Fork and Union will battle Wasatch in Roosevelt, Friday at 7:30 p.m. 13:50.4. Aaron Chaves, Box Elder, . collected seventh place at 13:55 and John Spencer, Murray, pocketed eighth place at 13:59.3. Darren Williams, Bonneville, nabbed ninth place at 14:00 and Cory Bringhurst captured tenth place at 14:01.1. Kathy Smith, Bountiful, Boun-tiful, nabbed the girls' crown at 16:03.0 and Reese Kidman captured the junior varsity crown at 14:50.3. Uintah will take part in the Orem Invitational Saturday. Junior varsity action will begin at 9:30 a.m. and varsity runners will compete at 10:30 a.m. Uintah will battle Provo on the road Tuesday and will host Union Oct. 15 at 3:30 p.m. The region meet will be held in Provo Oct. 22 and the state meet I is set for Oct. 28 at Sugarhouse Park in Salt Lake City.
