The Vikings scored their first touchdown a few plays later. We played good ball for three quarters and we had an 18 to 14 lead with seven minutes left. We let down and the Vikings scored three touchdowns in seven minutes. Pleasant Grove did pretty much what they wanted to in the last seven minutes. They scored one touchdown on a pass and gained the other two on runs," stated Uintah sophomore football coach, Leon Smuin. Uintah will battle American Fork on the road Thursday at 4 p.m. and will ; host Carbon Tuesday at 4 p.m. in a non-league non-league game. The Utes will host Provo Wednesday, Oct. 14 and will battle Orem in Vernal Oct. 22. |
