Show Doctor's wife seriously injured in Colorado head-on crash A head-on collision five miles east of Glenwood Springs, Colo., Wednesday afternoon of last week seriously injured the wife of a Vernal physician and caused head lacerations to the doctor. Jeanne C. Stringham, wife of Dr. Paul G. Stringham, was driving eastbound, five miles east of Glenwood Springs when an oncoming vehicle swerved into the eastbound lane and hit her vehicle head-on. She suffered a broken leg, four broken ribs, a bruised lung and abdominal and internal injuries, in-juries, according to the Colorado State Patrol report. Mrs. Stringham is listed in stable condition in the intensive care unit of Valley View Hospital in Glenwood Glen-wood Springs. Dr. Stringham was treated for head lacerations and released from the hospital the same day. The driver of the oncoming vehicle, Ronald Wayne Crawford, 27, Oak Creek. Colo., and his daughter Sebrina Crawford. 7, were treated and released from the Glenwood Springs hospital the same day. |
