Show Experience SjSy By Diedra Northern Uintah's Club is planning another fun outing. This will be on July 23 and it will be at Greens Lake. The bus will leave from the Golden Age Center at 10 a.m. the morning of the 23rd for the pot luck picnic. Bring your own utensils. 135 Senior Citizens enjoyed the meatloaf dinner Monday July 14. Rondall and Irene Shaw entertained the group. Mr. Shaw accompanied the couple on his guitar, as they sang several numbers. Mr. and Mrs. Shaw are from Missouri and were here visiting with Mrs. Shaw's sister, Ella Ainge. On the menu for next Monday, July 21 is: fried chicken; potatoes and ' gravy; fruit and tossed salads; green beans; cake and ice cream. Blood pressure clinic will be held July 28 following the dinner at 2 p.m. Bingo winner for the week of July 8 was Vernal Gehring with six games. Lillian Westwood was second, having four games. There was a three-way tie for third place; Alice Mott, Marion Swain and Ada Murray all with three games apiece. A full house was again seen at the Friday night dance. Also we had lots of new surprises. We have another wedding dance this Friday. The newly married couple is Joy Egan and George Marstella. They were married June 28 and will be sponsoring the dance Friday. We would like to take this opportunity to wish George and Joy many happy yeras together. Newel's Harmond Four, Elma, Vena and Marie, will be taking off on the 25th of July, so they can attend the Rasmussen reunion. As for Newel, he is going to get an opportunity to see how it feels to exchange dances. Dan and Thelma Thacker will be playing in place of the Harmony Four, for this one Friday only. The girls will be back August 1. Our good friends Art and Stella Boren announced they will be sponsoring the dance on August 8. We'll be looking for ' that dance too. Lots to look forward to the rest of the summer. Newcomers to the dance were: Venn and Alice Mott, Vernal; Joe and Grace Jensen, Moses Lake, Wash.: Mr. and Mrs. Voit Roper, Orem; Mary Tsach, Roosevelt; Grant and Marba Ainge, Rangely; Mr. and Mrs. Oits Chamberlain, Lois Biles all of Dinosaur and Alleen Milsaps, Rangely. , The anniversary waltz was played for Shirley and Bernice Ainge, 42 years and Cliff and Maxine Hershey, 14 years. We . wish these couples many more happy years together. Happy birthday was1 sung by Newel to the following: Shirley Ainge, Milton Wooley, Otis Chamberlain Cham-berlain and Ralph Chew. We enjoyed Judy Brighton's singing and Otis - Chamberlain joining in with the'band' . playing the fiddle. Jay Searle, dance director, told the dancers Harold Cook is now home and read a thank-you card from Mr. Cook. We are glad to hear Harold in on the mend. Hope to see him 5 and Nelda back to the dances soon. Deloy Richens joined us again. He's ' looking great. Dick Adams returned home Monday, after spending several days in the Salt Lake hospital. We wish him a speedy recovery. We know how much he and Ramona enjoyed the Friday night dances. Also Paul Murray just returned home from the hospital, hurry back Paul and Ada.
