Com-mitter. Mrs Price u;is elected fur a three year term A native of Venial. Clara Price has served on many professional and civic hoards. She is currently serving on the Uintah County Mental Health l-.iiard. as a member of the Utah Stale Women's legislative Council and the Chamber of Commerce She is also a member of the l!eaux Arts women's literary club and the Little Gallery of Arts organizations Mrs Price's other voluntary service includes work with the Utah State Dental Health Association and Auxiliary, the Utah State League of Cities Board, the Heart Fund, the Polio Drive, the P.T A . and as Relief Six iety lYcsidenl and Stake MIA President for her church The Utah Fndowment for the Humanities is a non profit granting agency funded by the National K.n-dowment K.n-dowment for the Humanities. Mrs lYice is one of twenty one volunteer committee members who will considei funding for proposals from mm profil organizations to do huniamluv programming throughout Utah. The F.ndowment has funded several programs in the Uintah Basin area in the recent past The Utah State University Kducation Center received funds for a lecture and discussion on King Henry II preceding a vr-formance vr-formance of the plav. "A Lion in Winter.'" A language maintenance project designed to preserve the Ute language in its oral tradition was made possible with an Kndowment grant to the Ute Indian Tribe Kducation Division. And recently, the city of Duchesne was awarded Kndowmenl funds to hue Mr. William Tennell, historian, to work in the community for a period of five months writing a history of Duchesne County and researching'the possibility of a county historical museum for Duchesne County.
