Costanza of Moab and Miss Deborah Jean Yates of Fairfield, Illinois were married Saturday afternoon, September 11 in the First Baptist Church of Fairfield. The ceremony was performed by Reverend David Dean. James is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Costanza of Moab. He is a graduate of Denver Automotive and Diesel College in Denver, Colo, and is now completing a course at Certified Certi-fied Welding School in Denver. Den-ver. Debbie is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Yates of Fairfield, Illinois. She is a graduate of Lockyear College in Evansyille, Ind. The double ring ceremony took place in the church sanctuary and included the lighting of the unity candle by the bride and groom. The church decorations and costumes cos-tumes of the wedding party were blue and white. The bride was given in marriage by her father and she wore a lovely formal, floor length wedding gown fashioned fashion-ed of imported French Crystalline Crystal-line over bridal taffeta trimmed trim-med with re-embroidered Peau 'd Ange lace. Her veil was a cathedral length mantilla mantil-la veil of imported bridal illusion completely edged in matching-lace. She carried an arrangement of white roses, babies breath and cream colored ribbon streamers. Debbie's maid-of-honor was Miss Angela Wathen of Rockport, Ind. and her sisters, Nancy and Mary Yates were bridesmaids. The flower girl was Pam Gooch of Fairfield, 111. and a cousin of the bride, Robert Shaw of Herrin, 111. was the ringbearer. The groom was attired in a white tuxedo with black trim and was attended by his brothers Rick Costanza, best man, and Joe and John Costanza, groomsmen, all of Moab. Ushers were John ' Gaither of Moab and Hubert Puckett of Mill Shoals, 111. The reception was held at the church immediately following follow-ing the ceremony. The couple spent a short honeymoon in Colorado Springs, Colo, and will soon make their home in Moab. |
