Rampton signs declaration naming October 9 through 15 as National Joggers Week In Utah. The week will be noted In Moab with a jogging event at the high school track beginning at 8:30 a.m. October 9. Any pace from walking to jogging to running will be acceptable with beginners and seasoned veterans in the sport welcome. All participants completing a mile will receive a certificate. Governor Rampton's declaration states there needs to be a commitment to physical fitness and good health, and that jogging can bring about these beneficial ends, requires no special equipment, and can be undertaken by family and friends. Auger asks, "Are you ready for hunting season?" He suggests participation in the October 9 event as a good start. |
