Show Livestock at state fair shown Junior Livestock bidding began Sat. at 7 p.m. in the judging ring at the Utah State Fair. When it was over, a lot of steers, sheep and market barrows (pigs) had new owners. own-ers. FFA and 4-H youngsters sold a total of 32 steers at an average price of $.56 per lb. (excluding the grand and reserve re-serve champions). They sold 63 lambs at an average price of $1.03 per lb. and 21 hogs at an average price of $.64 per lb., (excluding the grand and reserve champions). |
