Show Over 210 people attended our potluck supper for Girl Scout Registration at the Southeast School. Because of so many more girls who are interested in Girl Scouts this year, we will have 4 new troops. All troop times and meeting places are listed in this week's paper. 36 new girls registered and 4 new leaders. We are still short a leader for 3rd grade Brownies at the Southeast school. Because Be-cause the bulb burned out on the projector, a film could not be shown, but Kathy Pur-vance Pur-vance explained the new program. pro-gram. Eris Young gave a talk . on Troop committee members. memb-ers. A delicious covered dish dinner was enjoyed and registration regis-tration followed. A meeting with girls and parents was held at the school house in Thompson last week to form a new troop there. Neighborhood Chairman Robin Rob-in Henningson showed a film strip "What's It All About" and Staff Aide Kathy Pur-van Pur-van ce talked to the girls and parents about Scouting. Leader Lead-er for the Thompson girls will be Mrs. Cathy Frame and they will meet in the school house Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. Senior girls H190 took an overnight trip to Salt Lake City to attend Holiday On Ice Saturday evening and the State Fair on Sunday. Mothers Moth-ers driving were Shirley Shelton, Carolyn McCurdy & Gerri Wimmer. Girl Scout Uniforms Needed Don't forget, we have a drive on for experienced uniforms uni-forms for needy girls in our area. Tony Lema at Poor Boy will give a quarter pounder hamburger & a Pepsi in a cartoon glass to any girl or leader who turns in a clean usable experienced uniform during the month of September Septemb-er only. Neighborhood meeting will be next Tuesday, September 20 at 9:00 a.m. at the Scout House. AH new leaders and assistants and any Troop Committee members that would like, please come for training. We have new books for Brownies & Juniors. The same training will also be given at the Scout House that evening at 7:00 p.m. for those leaders who work & cannot attend that morning.
