Show ELECTION NOTICE To all qualified electors of the Grand County Special Service Water District, Grand County, Utah: Take notice that on the 11th day of October, 1977, a special bond election will be held in the said District, Grand County, Utah, at the place set out below for the purpose of submitting to the qualified electors of said District the following proposition: PROPOSITION Shall the Administrative Control Board of the Grand County Special Service Water District, Grand County, Utah, be authorized to issue General Obligation Water Bonds of said District in the amount of not to exceed Two Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars $2,500,000, due and payable In not to exceed thirty-five 35 years from the date of said Bonds; these Bonds to be issued and sold for the purpose of defraying all or a part of the costs of constructing certain water system improvements and extensions within said District including but not limited to a water transportation and distribution system, diversion dam and transmission lines and storage tank, and the purchase of water rights and any land necessary for the construction of said improvements and extensions? Leigh Gardner Bonnie Vetere Nancy Dunham The voting at such special bond election, shall be by ballot, which ballots will be furnished by the Administrative Control Board of the Grand County Special Service Water District to the election officials who, In turn, will furnish them to the qualified voters. The polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. There will be no special registration of voters for the special bond election, and the official register last made or revised shall constitute the register for such election; except that the County Clerk of Grand County will register as provided by law at his office during regular office hours, except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, and except during the ten-day period Immediately preceding the bond election, any person who Is or will be eighteen years of age or older and who otherwise will be a qualified elector on the day of this election. The County Clerk will make available, or will cause the registration agents to make available, at the above-described polling place, a registration list or copy thereof listing all registered electors entitled to use such voting place. . . NOTICE is further given that on Monday, Oct. 17, 1977, that being a day not later than ten (10) days after said election, the Administrative Control Board will meet at Its regular meeting place at 12 p.m. to canvass the returns and declare the results of said election.
