Show Senior Citizens Party Held On Wednesday The annual Senior Citizens Citi-zens Holiday Luncheon was termed a great success suc-cess by the host organization, organiza-tion, the Moab Chapter of Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Pion-eers. Approximately 80 senior sen-ior citizens enjoyed the luncheon and program that followed. Les Erbes, local TV newscaster, served as master mas-ter of ceremonies, a service ser-vice he has performed for many years. Honored as the oldest man at the affair was Gny Brown, a very spry 90 years of age. Lydia Skew-es Skew-es received the honor hh the oldest lady at 85 years of age. Among those taking tak-ing part on the program were V. P. Walker, who sang, to the accompaniment accompani-ment of his wife. Eliza Burr gave a reading and Mrs. Dale and Mrs. Hibl performed a guitar and violin duct. To round out the afternoon, the entire group sang their favorite songs. |
