Show Police Arrest Moab Youths p On Drug Violation Charges lf Moab City Police on Dec. 30, arrested three Moab youths on charges of drug violations, it was announced announ-ced this week by Police Chief Melvin S. Dalton. Arrested after several days of surveillance, were Dennis Den-nis L. Bailey, 20, who was charged with possession of marijuana; Mark Riley, 15 who is being charged with possession of marijuana; and Kay Yama, 17, who was charged with knowingly knowing-ly being in and around a place where narcotics were being used. On January 4, in other Police action, the depart, ment investigated an accident acci-dent at Grand County High School which involved three vehicles. A 1965 Jeep, driven dri-ven by Bruce Hammer, made a right turn into the High S'chool ' parking lot. The roads were icy and slick and the vehicle slid into two others: a 1963 Ford owned by Richard , Kim Taylor, and a 1969 Chevrolet owned by Paul Cox. Approximately $100 damage was sustained by the Jeep, $100 to the Ford and $40 to the Chevrolet, Chief Dalton stated. On Jan. 1, officials at Southeast Elementary School Sch-ool reported that a window; win-dow; had been broken by vandals. The matter is under un-der investigation.
