Show Ten Games in Thirteen Days Face Hustling Utah Stars The Utah Stars get down to the serious business busi-ness of playing professional profession-al , basketball with teD games in thirteen days, starting against the Texas Chaparrals at home in the Salt Palace on Thursday, Jan. 7, and extending thru Tuesday, Jan. 19, against the defending- American Basketball Association's champion Indiana Pacers. Special is the terminology terminol-ogy used by the Stars to describe such activities as "Army Night" at the Jan. 7 game, "Statehood Day with the Stars" on Sunday, Jan. 10, "UEA Night" on Tuesday, Jan. 12 and "Cancer Night" on Thursday, Thurs-day, Jan. 14. All personnel of the . Tooele Army Depot, Dug-way Dug-way Proving Ground, Des-eret Des-eret Test Center and Fort Douglas will be admitted for $1 discounts to the Chaparral game on Jan. 7. The Jan. 10 game, to be played at 3 p.m., the first afternoon home game of the season for the Stars, will be against the Flor-idians Flor-idians and is being held in conjunction with the state's Diamond Jubilee commemoration. All elected elect-ed officials of the state will be special guests of the Stars. ' The Jan. 12 game will mark the final appearance bf th yeear in Salt Lake City by the Carolina Cougars Cou-gars and the opponent on Jan. 14 will be the Memphis Mem-phis Pros. Road games scheduled during this busy period include a Monday, Jan. 11 date at Indiana, and Jan. 15th, 16th and 17th appearances ap-pearances against Texas at Dallas, the Floridians at Miami and' the Pros at Memphis.
