Hiking, cooking, cook-ing, .skills and fun were enjoyed by girls on all levels of scouting. The pirls participated in nature study, outdoor cooking, crafts and hikinir. including a hike to the Pack Crek Ranch for a jruided tour by Mrs. Hrownell. Of special spec-ial interest at camp were puest speaker Forester Jerry Jer-ry Holer on the subjects of conservation and ecology ecolo-gy and Mr. Rob Mijrilori who spoke on survival in. the out of doors. Robin Hennincrson was available every day as a special resource instructor for nature study and the seven basic campincr skills, including fire buildinir, knots and lashing and knife safety. An official camp visits-, lion was held on Friday" by Mrs. Geneva Schwartz, Executive Director of the Utah Girl Scout Council, and Mrs. Catherine Mur-dock, Mur-dock, District VII Chairman. Chair-man. The campers expressed express-ed their admiration for Mrs. Schwartz by presenting present-ing her with a cedar berry necklace. Also on Friday a bridging ceremony was held for the Junior Girl Scouts who will be Cadet Scouts next year. The program pro-gram was planned and presented pre-sented by the Cadets and included a lashed bamboo bridge for each Junior Scout to cross. The Moab Neighborhood is grateful to District Advisor Ad-visor Janet Oliveto of Price who atlended camp each day and gave valuable training to the staff prior to camp. Thanks is also extended ex-tended to all members of the community who helped make Day Camp a worthwhile worth-while experience for Moab Girls. The camp staff iiicUided: Mr.J.. David E.
