Show Clowns Provide Needed Service Two rodeo clowns will provide both entertainment for the spectators and safety saf-ety for riders during the Canyonlands Rodeo- this weekend. The two, "ay Mo-ser Mo-ser of Seilt Lake City and Duane Reichert from New Underwood, South Dakota, are well known throughout rodeo circles across the country. Moser began his career in sma.ll rodeos for three or four years as a rider and then became interested' in working as a clown. After working at weekly summer rodeos he was given membership mem-bership in the Rodeo Cowboys Cow-boys Association as a clown. Barrel work is his speciality and he also has EiCappy, a trained Shetland Shet-land pony to help fill in the gaps and to make the crowd laugh. Duane Reichert, who has been clowning for nine years, has worked semi-profcss;onally semi-profcss;onally until this year when he became a member of the RCA. He has built 'his comedy acts until he now has an eighteen eight-een foot covered trailer and a pickup camper nearly near-ly full of props. He will be providing local fans with a demonstration of Dr. Ben Krazy's Rampaging Ambulance, Ambu-lance, a feature act. In addition ad-dition to clowning, Reichert Reich-ert is a professional when it comes to handling the bull's used in rodeo work. These two men, along with the animals of the rodeo ro-deo should provide excitement excite-ment and fun for all who attend. |
