Show Circuit Court news Bail was forfeited in three separate cases involving invol-ving charges of driving under the influence of intoxicating in-toxicating liquor (DU1) in 12th Circuit Court Oct. 4, when defendants failed to appear. Bail posted by John David Austin and Winston Turtle, both in the amount of $250. John T. Whemei-er, Whemei-er, who was also charged with hit and run, had bail of $300 forfeited. Randy Flynn appeared Oct. 4 and entered a plea of guilty to the charge of public intoxication. He was fined $35, with $20 of the fine suspended. Phillip Gene Goodspeed appeared, also Oct. 4, on a charge of illegal consumption consump-tion of alcohol. He entered a plea of guilty and was fined $35. On Oct. 9 bail of $250 was forfeited in the case of State vs. Arthur Lee Charley, who was charged with DUI and failed to appear. On Oct. 10 Richard Eldon Dohse appeared with his attorney, Thomas R. Blonquist, Salt Lake City, for arraignment on the charge of aggravated assault. He entered a plea of innocent and preliminary prelimi-nary hearing was scheduled schedul-ed for Friday, Dec. 1 at 10 a.m. Defendant was released rel-eased on $1,000 bail pending the hearing. Robert White appeared Oct. 11 and entered a plea of guilty to the charge of DUI and operating a vehicle without drivers license. He was fined $250 on the first charge and $25 on the second charge. Alfred Lee O'Neil appeared ap-peared on a charge of driving during revocation and entered a plea of guilty. He was sentenced to serve 6 months in the county jail. The jail sentence was suspended and he was placed on 1 year probation. During the period of probation he is required to reported to the sheriff's office daily for antabuse treatment. He was also ordered to attend AA meetings twice weekly, and if he violates any condition of probation proba-tion he will be required to serve the jail sentence. |
