Dan Myers, an articulate articu-late speaker, has a warmth and enthusiasm that is contagious, accord- ing to K. M. Halla. Pastor, C o m m unity Baptist Church. He is the senior minister of the First Baptist Church in Lancaster, Lancas-ter, California. His Congregation Con-gregation is respected as a leader among churches on the cutting edge of the Christian faith. Pastor Myers is presently serving on the faculty of the California Graduate School of Theology in Clendale. California. He is also completing a three year term as president of American Baptist Ministers Minis-ters for the Southwestern States. SPIRENO introduces John and Dawn Hess. Each night they w ill direct the Crusade Choir and present their own gift music to the people of Moab. John Hess has been on staff as an East Coast Regional Musician with "Youth for Christ" and has worked with Jack Wyrtzen on a number of "Word of Life" concerts. He has played for a number of Leighton Ford Crusades and has accompanied accom-panied such artists as the late Ethel Waters, Dave Boyer, Sherman Adrus and Flo Price. SPIRENO is for all the family. Special salad-luncheons salad-luncheons are planned for ladies on Thursday and Friday beginning at 11 a.m. A Bible Study with Dr. Myers will precede the luncheon. In addition the men will be meeting with the SPIRENO team at 8 a.m. Sat. morning for breakfast. Saturday night is to be a special time for youth. It begins with a Pizza Party at 6 p.m. Everyone is invited for the 7:30 p.m. Crusade Celebration. Cele-bration. Everyone is most cordially cor-dially invited to the evening meetings and the Bible-Study Luncheon meetings. A nursery will be provided for all the meetings. |
