Region Sis South is able enter three contestants in e extemporanious speech tegory every year. This ar, two of the three are j " an Grand. Both Doug Zu-it, Zu-it, who placed third in re-on re-on and Lvnn Brechtel, who v iced third, will be representing repre-senting GCHS. Don and Peggy will participate in debate; de-bate; Shirley and Liz in radio speaking; speak-ing; Eric in legislative forum and Doug and Lynn in extemporaneous speaking. In Radio - Speaking, the region can also qualify three students, and two of these are from Grand as well. Shirley Jones, a regional second place, and Liz Whitney, Whit-ney, who placed third will be participating in this area. . Of the five students Region Re-gion Sis South can enter in Legislative Forum, one has been entered from Grand. Eric Nelson, fourth place regional contestant, is the only GCHS entree in this area. Three debate teams are entered en-tered from Region Six and Grand will be sending one. Peggy Tomsic and Don Taylor, Tay-lor, took second place last week and will also be competing com-peting at state.
