Catherine has had 12 years of activity with Girl Scouts since she h e 1 p e d to reorg.ini e Scouting in Carbon County Coun-ty in 1UG2. She has served ser-ved as Troop Consultant, Assisland l eader, Neighborhood Neigh-borhood Chairman and Neighborhood C o o k i e Chairman for the past 1(1 years. She has been Chairman of District II for the past G years. She is a former 4-1! leader. Cub Scout Den Mother, and Block Worker for cha l it y drives. As a remembrance of the Moab Neighborhood, we presented Catherine with a "Scouting pillow" at our IP in December. The side shown is a replica re-plica of the World Association Asso-ciation Pin. This pin is die badge of the World Association of Girl Guides Guid-es and Girl Scouts The blue stands fur the shy and the gold stands for the sun. The trefoil stands for the thr ee pa i ts of the Promise. The base of the trefoil is shaped like a flame and this stands for the love of mankind and the flame that burns in the hea i ts of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts around the woi Id. The line in the middle of the trefoil stands for the compass needle that guides us. The two stars stand for the Promise and Laws. On the reverse side of the pillow pil-low was the shape of a trefoil with the Promise embroidered inside. Thanks for years of service, ser-vice, Catherine.
