Beach was asked to determine the bonding capacity of the district. George White and Darwin Dar-win Gilger, directors of the special improvement district board, of which Comm. A. Dan Holyoak is also a member, and Chris Jouflas, planner with the Southeastern Utah Ut-ah Association of Governments, Gov-ernments, were present. The original plan to install only a sewer system sys-tem in the district had been turned down by the Utah Department of Health Heal-th on the basis that ground waters feeding shallow wells in the area might still be contaminated if a water system was not also installed. Plans on a system incorporated both water and sewer lines lin-es are being completed, and Mr. Jouflas stated he would help get information informa-tion as to costs, legality legal-ity and ' applications for funding. The Environmental Environ-mental Protection Agency, Ag-ency, Housing and Urban Development and other agencies are being considered con-sidered as funding sources. sourc-es. When the cost estimates estimat-es are in, and the bonding bond-ing capacity of the district determined, based on the assessed valuation of the land and improvements, the county will know what additional funds will be needed.
