Not entirely Ji sned with his work and, J ,erhaPs. because he was " ys interested in medicine, in the spring of 1969 he decided to go to school for veterinary medicine. With three children and several thousand pounds of furniture, they pulled up stakes and headed for Ft. Collins. Bob said that he has never regretted the decision and finds extreme satisfaction working with animals. When " he first began his program of study, small animals were his preference, but at this time, he cannot honestly say that he prefers one type or size of animal over another. Both Bob and Gayle have been active in organizations, usually ones that concern their children. "Our activities tend to center around the children," chil-dren," Gayle said, "and usually the unplanned events are the most enjoyable ones." Bob announced that the clinic now has new hours of operation. The clinic will be open Tuesday through Friday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., open each Saturday morning from 9 to noon and closed on Sunday and Monday. The weekday mornings are set aside for surgery and country calls. |
