Show INTRA. BASKETBALL By Jim Key The Grand County High School Intramural Basketball games have been completed for the year of 1978. The final scores for the last round were as follows: Game 1 at 6:30 p.m. Animals were overtaken by the Raiders 46 to 48; Game 2 at 7:30 p.m. Big Mac Attack beat the Mean Machine 48 to 47; and Game 3 at 8:30 p.m. Jazz was beaten by the Chair Lifters 44 to 45. The individual individ-ual team records were as follows: In Erst place were the Big Mac Attack with a record of 10 wins and 0 losses; in second place we had a tie between the Jazz and the Chair Lifters with a record of 6 wins and 4 losses; in third place the Animals took it with a record of 5 wins and 5 losses; taking fourth place was the Mean Machine with a record of 4 wins and 6 losses; and in last place was the Raiders with a record of 2 wins and 8 losses. The next intramural sport will be tennis with mixed doubles, doubles, boy's singles, sing-les, and girl's singles. This will be an individual sport for the students and faculty. It will begin some time in March. |
